Directions from Madrid:

Take the A66/N630 Mérida-Sevilla road. After Almendralejo, follow the signs to Zafra. Pass through Zafra and continue on the N435R towards Fregenal de la Sierra. There, take the N435 towards Huelva until you reach km 129. At this junction, turn left towards Seville. You are now on the N433. Just before km 96, turn right where you will see a sign for La Peña de Arias Montano. 1 km further on, at the crossroads, turn left towards Alájar on the HU5214. The road climbs up the hill and at the end you come to a T-junction. Turn right onto the HU8105 towards Huelva and between km 20 and 19 turn left again. Here you will find wooden signs for Casas Rurales Molino Rio Alájar 1 km. Cross the river, take the first right (signposted 400 metres) and follow the winding road. You will see a stone monument by the river and the cottages on the other side, on the right bank. Cross the ford on the right and go up to the car park on the left.

From the motorway towards Seville, take the N435 road towards Badajoz. At kilometre 139, opposite the Hostal Bar El Cruce, turn right onto the HU8105 towards Aracena. Just before you reach Alájar, between kilometres 19 and 20, turn right. There you will see wooden signs indicating Casas Rurales Molino Rio Alájar 1 km. Cross the river, take the first turn on the right (the sign says: 400 metres) and follow the winding path. You will see a stone monument by the river and the houses on the other side of the river, on its right bank. Cross the ford to the right and go up to the car park on the left.

From Seville Airport:

Take the road to the city and follow signs for Mérida and Isla Mágica/Isla de la Cartuja. You will pass several roundabouts and junctions. At the Olympic Stadium, follow the sign for «All Directions». Look for the A66 motorway – Mérida/Portugal. Approximately 35 km from Seville, turn off onto the N433, signposted for Portugal and Aracena. Follow the N433 for about 60 km, slowly ascending hills and small villages. You will see Aracena castle on the hilltop to your left. Do not follow signs for Alajar at the first roundabout in Aracena, but continue on the N433 towards Portugal. At the next roundabout in Aracena, turn right if you wish to go shopping. Two supermarkets, Mercadona and Lidl, are open Monday to Saturday from 9:15 to 21:15. Continue for 8 km along the N433 direction Portugal and turn left onto the HU 8114, signposted La Peña de Arias Montano. At the next roundabout, follow signs for Alajar to the left.

At the end of this road, turn right towards Santa Ana La Real and pass Alajar on your left. Between kilometres 20 and 19 of this road, just after passing Alajar, turn left. You will see a sign indicating Casas Rurales Molino Rio Alajar at 1 km. Cross the river, take the first right (the sign indicates: 400 metres) and follow the winding path. You will see a stone monument by the river and the houses on the other side, on its right bank. Cross the ford to the right and go up to the car park on the left.
