What makes this trip special: • 🏡 Charming accommodations • 🥾 Accessible and well-marked routes • 🍴 Gastronomía local • 🏔️ Ascent to the highest point of the Sierra • 📱 GPS routes on Wikiloc • 🚐 Luggage transport included
Availability of the trip: Available all year round, except during the hottest months (July and August)

About the accommodations
In Alájar, you will stay at Molino Río Alájar, offering plenty of privacy and views of the valley and surrounding hills. The package price is based on a stay in Casa Búho, featuring a combined living and sleeping area with a wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom. Heating and air conditioning ensure comfort throughout the year.
In Almonaster la Real, you will stay at the recently renovated Hotel-Restaurant García, a small and cozy family-run hotel. From your room, you will enjoy a beautiful view of the Mosque of Almonaster la Real, one of the most picturesque villages in the Sierra.
For the last two nights, you will stay at the rustic Hotel-Restaurant Los Doce Caños, with views of the mountains surrounding the village of Galaroza.
Breakfast, Dinner and Lunch
At (Molino Rio Alajar) we provide a “well-stocked fridge” so there's enough for breakfast and a picnic lunch. In Andalusia, it's customary to have a substantial lunch at midday (from 2:00 PM) at one of the many restaurants available. In the evenings, fewer restaurants are open (from 8:30 PM). In Alájar, it's also possible to order a prepared meal to be delivered to your home by our collaborator Vanessa, who can also book a restaurant for you if you wish.
About the activities
The hiking trails in this programme are deliberately kept short so that you have enough time to enjoy the surroundings. If you wish to do longer routes, descriptions are available at the accommodation.
Extra days
You can indicate when making your booking if you wish to extend your stay and add an extra day (a rest day). In Alájar, there are more routes, and both Almonaster and Galaroza are interesting villages where it is worth spending more time.
