We stayed in Zoya for two weeks. Fantastic surroundings. Ideal for relaxing, listening to crickets, the sound of the wind and the water in the river below. Getting to know Huelva without crowds. Thanks to the owners and particularly to Honda ( the dog who accompanied us on our walks) and Son (the dog who accompanied us the rest of the time)
- ust a quick email to say that we had a fantastic time in Spain. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days in Seville. Hazel did a lot of shopping and I did a lot of walking!! I think we also managed to take in most of the sights. We made the journey up to Molino Río Alájar in no time at all - about one and a half hours. Didn't do very much while we were in the area - made a couple of day trips up into the lakes and also to Aracena and the caves etc. Peter and Monica were great and we got on well with the other visitors. Once again, thank you for a great holiday destination and for all the hospitality. Best Regards
We stayed there with 3 children and would like to add our congratulations. High quality tourist accommodation. Ideal for relaxing, walking, reading.. Total tranquillity. A beautiful sierra region in a surprisingly pleasant province. Greetings to Peter.
It was magnificent: the secluded surroundings of oaks and chestnuts (no cars), the houses perfect to a detail, and the Dutch owners, Monica and Peter, who look after the countryside as only they know how to do. We enjoyed several days in June, summertime, swimming and books, only interrupted by the walkers following the Alájar river, snacks of ibérico ham and siestas. You can help yourself from the vegetable garden or the orchard which José María carefully tends. If you like stars, by night you can enjoy an incredible sky, while frogs sing and the old dog barks now and then. What you be won’t troubled by are cars. We’ll be back in October to roast chestnuts in the huge fireplaces.
- We had an absolutely wonderful time in Alájar! Loved the accommodation and the countryside was absolutely stunning - we enjoyed numerous long walks. Not to mention the ham...! Thanks again - we're definitely hoping to return to the Molino in the future.
- Thank you for assisting with the booking at the Molino, I had a generally wonderful time there and so did Janice. Everything was wonderful. I did not get to go to the beach at Mazagon as I was ill, but I visited Cadiz ("Little Havana" they call it), and the food there in the plaza across from the church was great. Also enjoyed the Balcony of Europe in Nerja much and Seville's Alcazar much. I also visited Malaga and Cordoba's Mezuita of course. Very marvelous. However my favourite place was undoubtedly the Molino and the patio deck. It was grand. Janice also enjoyed the piano on our last night as she plays a bit.
