Depending on your arrival time, you will have the possibility to take a guided bike ride through the city and discover the wonders of Seville, its streets, its monuments, its art, its people…!

Night in Seville: Hotel 3*.

Today you will set off for the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche, located in the heart of a natural park considered a Biosphere Reserve. Transfer is by taxi at 10am.

In the afternoon, you can start your first cycling tour.

Overnight stay in your Casa Rural Molino Rio Alájar.

Depending on your desire to pedal or rest, choose your routes from our catalogue with the help of Vanessa, our mountain bike route expert.

Mountain only, visiting villages, monuments, cultural visits and gastronomic tastings with stops at local and traditional restaurants, rest stops… you can choose according to your preferences. Of course, all routes are recommended for trained cyclists, as our area requires knowledge and a good physical condition!

Taxi transfer to Seville at 10am.

We will take you to your accommodation in Seville where your bikes are waiting for you for your second week of cycling!

Stay at a  hotel  in Seville.

Today you can explore Seville further by bike. Seville has an excellent network of cycling routes, developed since 2007. Today’s route is about 30 km long and takes you along the main streets, squares and monuments.

The shopping streets are elegant and graceful; look out for the beautiful flamenco dresses in the shop windows.

In the evening you can enjoy delicious tapas and, if you like, watch the exciting flamenco dance up close.

Cycle from the hotel to the “El Rocío” pilgrimage site; a trip along the paths used by thousands of pilgrims who come to this village every year at Pentecost to honour the Virgen del Rocío. They come from far and wide, with horses and horse-drawn carriages, and the Andalusian flamenco costumes add a special colour to the scene. The journey there is considered as important as the ceremony at the Virgen del Rocío itself.

Even if you cycle outside the pilgrimage week, following this route through the beautiful Coto Doñana natural park is quite an experience. Most roads are gravel and dirt roads, good for cycling with the bikes you have. Arriving and staying in El Rocío, the “cowboy village” with dirt roads and white houses shared with a small group of permanent residents, is a unique experience. Overnight in El Rocío.

This route is 62 km 3 ¾ hours of cycling.

Today you will cycle from El Rocío via Coria del Río to Los Palacios y Villafranca.

Coria del Rio is a town on the banks of the Guadalquivir, the river that is 657 km long and has been especially important for Seville’s history. This route again crosses part of the Coto Doñana nature park, visiting the Dehesa de Tornero, known for its bird populations. Waterbirds are found here in large numbers and migratory birds can turn up anywhere, so each visit brings surprises. On the way, we take the ferry across the Guadalquivir at Coria del Rio. This trip is 75 km 5 hours of cycling.

Overnight in an hotel in Los Palacios y Villafranca.

Today you cycle from Los Palacios y Villafranca to Arcos de la Frontera. Again, you can observe a wide variety of birds, with large populations of (black) storks and herons attracting particular attention. Visit the town of Las Cabezas de San Juan for a coffee and then continue cycling through the rolling countryside of pure Andalusia, with olive groves and the vineyards of the famous Barbadilla wine. Arriving in Arcos de la Frontera, you can fully enjoy and relax in a nice hotel.

This tour is 57 km 4 hours of cycling.

Today you will first visit Arcos de la Frontera, spectacularly situated on a rocky point. Dating back to Moorish times, Arcos is one of Andalusia’s famous white villages, with winding streets, pretty courtyards and colourful patios. You also have constantly breathtaking views of the city of Jerez there. You also have continuous breathtaking views over the area you have cycled through and will cycle through. After visiting the village, you will cycle to Jerez de la Frontera, famous for its flamenco, bodegas and horses. This is where the world-famous sherry is produced. Jerez has a vibrant nightlife and delicious tapas, which you are sure to enjoy. Try an amontillado or oloroso in this sherry town.

This tour is 41.5 km and 2½ hours of cycling.

The last day of cycling is a mixture of cycling through varied landscapes and visiting 3 small coastal towns: you cycle towards the sea. In Rota, the third coastal town, there is time for a drink and a swim before taking the ferry to the oldest city in Western Europe: Cadiz.
Arriving in Cadiz, you cycle to the hotel and get a good first impression of this beautiful colonial city. You will pick up the bikes and have a nice tour through the city following our tips.

Depending on your flight, you still have time to enjoy Cádiz. Don’t forget the beautiful beach of La Caleta, and the botanical garden of Parque Genovez.

And then it’s time to take you to the airport.
